Delays UKBA processing times in Warsaw – October 2012

UKBA reports that visa applications being processed in Warsaw are currently (October 2012) subject to delays. Warsaw is a regional hub and, except for applications submitted in Poland, processes applications from several other countries in the area. UKBA advises that the delays are a temporary problem.

If you are applying under a non-settlement category you may experience slightly longer waiting times than UKBA’s published target of 15 working days. UKBA recommends that, if your application is very urgent, you contact the Warsaw team about the progress of your application.

Their e-mail address is warsaw_visamail[at]fco.gov.uk (please replace [at] with @). To read UKBA’s announcement about the delays in Warsaw, please click here.

Please note that, if you want to get an idea of UK visa processing times in general, you can visit UKBA’s Processing Times page. You will find this page here (this link will open in a new window). If you enter the place where you submitted or wish to submit your application, it will tell you the average processing time at your visa application centre for the type of application that you have submitted/propose to submit. The processing times listed are always for the previous month, but it does give you an indication of how long it will likely take before your application is decided on.
